About the College Football Performance Awards:
The goal of the College Football Performance Awards is to provide the most scientifically rigorous conferments in college football. CFPA recipients are selected exclusively based upon objective scientific rankings of the extent to which individual players increase the overall effectiveness of their teams.
As many scholars have noted, CFPA eliminates the politics and biases that vitiate the college football awards process. Prominent sports ethicist and former football coach Gordon Marino states, “The biases in the (balloting-based) awards process are behemoth.” Philosopher Paul Studtmann adds, “CFPA finally answers the question everyone is really asking: who are the top performers in college football?”And former Science Advisor to President Obama, Lawrence Krauss writes, “CFPA may add a deeper understanding and appreciation of the game.”

His 109 rushing yards was a career high and the first time a Toledo quarterback gained at least 100 yards since Tavares Bolden gained 115 yards vs. Central Michigan in 1999 (Courtesy of Toledo Athletics).

The goal of the College Football Performance Awards:
The goal of the College Football Performance Awards is to provide the most scientifically rigorous conferments in college football. CFPA recipients are selected exclusively based upon objective scientific rankings of the extent to which individual players increase the overall effectiveness of their teams.
As many scholars have noted, CFPA eliminates the politics and biases that vitiate the college football awards process. Renown sports ethicist Gordon Marino states, “The biases in the (balloting-based) college football awards process are behemoth.” National Security Agency Science Consultant Amy Langville writes, “A rigorous scientific methodology such as CFPA is a welcome addition for fans and players demanding equity in sports awards.” And philosopher Paul Studtmann adds, “CFPA finally answers the question everyone is really asking: Who are the top performers in college football?”
